The roundabout was a conversion of an existing intersection. Some corners of the intersection don't have full concrete separators due to right of way constraints. The one separator geometry was based on a sewer air release valve manhole that couldn't be lowered. The center island is slightly oval shaped; earlier concepts had a round center island. The approaches use a zicla barrier. The artwork was added later. |
